Next Ventures currently require a Hybris Business Analyst for a customer of ours in The Midlands. You will be working on an existing Hybris Commerce platform.

Start: Mid-Feb/Mid-March 2018
Duration: 6 months (likely extensions)
Remote Work: 1-2 days per week once settled
Rate: in £ per day (competitive)


  • Gathering business requirements from various stakeholders and attain sign off on project documents
  • Translating business requirements into functional and non-functional system requirements
  • Generate requirements and software specification documentation 
  • Build Business and IT knowledge as well as relationships with Business, IT Stakeholders and suppliers 
  • Work closely with developers, test analysts and third parties to ensure software quality is to a high standard and the solution meets the business requirements
  • Collaborate with project managers with feasibility studies, solution options analysis, estimation and high-level planning
  • Plan and drive the work in accordance with the time plan 
  • Ensure that deliverables are on time, with quality and at cost 
  • Coordinate requirements with suppliers, maintenance team, business and projects 
  • Collaborate with other areas within IT to assure delivery 
  • Maintain requirement documents and ensure the quality of these 
  • Support and be a sounding board for business, architects and testers 
  • Ensure completion of review of requirements, design and technical specifications 
  • Constantly search for improvements in the requirement process 
  • Lead workshops 
  • Handle investigations and suggest solutions, investigating cross-functional business processes 
  • Aid workshops containing business, technical and third party resources


Experience/Skills Required:

  • Business analysis experience, working on Hybris Commerce solutions
  • Understanding of the Hybris e-commerce landscape, including e-commerce platforms and integrations to plug-ins
  • Ability to lead and drive functional and technical aspects related to the project, such as integration contracts and functional/technical design proposals 
  • Creating as-is process and to-be process flows 
  • Facilitating technical workshops 
  • Business facing BA and stakeholder management skills 
  • Understanding how Hybris functionality can fit business requirements
  • International Hybris deployment projects 
  • Supporting key business users and training supporting teams
  • Able to develop strong, long-term relationships with business and stakeholders and influence key decisions
  • Agile software development methodologies
