Oracle HR/Payroll/OBIEE Systems Manager

The key responsibilities in the role are to:

  • manage, day-to-day, the workload and prioritisation of the HR/Payroll/OBI support team;
  • own the support function from the perspective of call escalation;
  • be the owner for technical issues, questions or guidance (including on projects);
  • oversee, including some project management, changes in order that they are delivered on time and to budget provide daily support to the HR/Payroll User Community;
  • liaise with our managed services providers for incident management and bug fixing;
  • carry out thorough testing as appropriate;
  • systems improvement;
  • efficiency improvement;
  • support and report information to both internal and external audits (including starters and leavers);
  • take ownership for the relevant application development roadmaps and contribute to the overall application strategy for the Rail division.

  • Oracle HR/Payroll
  • Oracle OBIEE
  • Odex - HMRC EDI platform (inwards and outwards notifications)
  • Filezilla/Winscp (inwards and outwards notifications
